Past accuracy is not a guarantee
The 87% directional accuracy figure published on this platform represents the historical performance of our signal models over the trailing 12 months. Past performance does not guarantee, imply, or predict future results. Signal accuracy can and does vary across different market regimes, sectors, and time periods.
- Signal accuracy is measured on a directional basis only (up or down), not on magnitude.
- Accuracy figures include all signals above the minimum confidence threshold. Lower-confidence signals have lower historical accuracy.
- Accuracy figures are calculated on resolved signals. Signals still within their resolution window are excluded from published accuracy metrics until they resolve.
Data source limitations
Our signals are derived from publicly available data sources including SEC filings, earnings call transcripts, news articles, and alternative data providers. These sources have inherent limitations:
- SEC filings (including 13F and Form 4) are subject to reporting delays and may not reflect real-time positioning.
- Alternative data sources (job postings, app store ratings, etc.) are proxies, not direct measures of financial performance.
- Natural language processing models used for sentiment analysis can misclassify unusual or highly technical language.
- Data coverage quality varies by company size and exchange. We publish a data coverage quality score for each ticker.
Market risks
Investing in financial markets carries inherent risks including the risk of total loss of invested capital. Signal intelligence can improve the probability of a correct directional call but cannot eliminate market risk, liquidity risk, event risk, or systemic risk.
Unexpected events — earnings surprises, regulatory actions, macroeconomic shocks, geopolitical events — can and do override otherwise valid signals. No analytical system can fully anticipate genuinely novel events.
Conflicts of interest
Finsight Core Ltd does not hold positions in any securities covered by the platform. Our revenue is derived entirely from subscription fees. We have no financial relationship with any company whose signals appear on the platform, and we do not receive compensation for producing favorable or unfavorable signals about any company.
Regulatory status
Finsight Core Ltd is incorporated in England and Wales. We are not registered as an investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial services provider in any jurisdiction. Access to this platform does not create a regulated advisory relationship between Finsight Core and any user.
